Our single was recently distributed through CD BABY.  However when I click the link to find it on Deezer, I found that it’s added to someone else’s artist profile.  The single (called Noć i Dan) is found on Deezer here…

This is a different band using the same name.  My band is called N.O.T. as well but it is not the same band nor the same type of music.  This is also preventing me from creating and claiming my artist page on Deezer for Creators.

I’m new on this forum.

I’ve been using Deezer for about a year or two now. Never had any big problems and the audio quality is great. But I noticed over the years that alot of my favorite artists are unfortunately merged with other artists with the same name. It has really annoyed me over the years.

So I wil share some artist pages that got wrongfully merged with other artists with the same name. I hope that someone will take care of it and split the merged artist pages.

There are two profile pages for Dodheimsgard, one is called Dodheimsgard and the other one is called Dodheimsgard (DHG). The two albums under the Dodheimsgard (DHG) page may be moved to the Dodheimsgard page, because it’s the same band. Dodheimsgard started using the DHG abbreviation by the end of the 90’s when they changed genre. It don’t think that there is any need to split these up because one of the two album on the Dodheimsgard (DHG) page is actually from their old period when they didn’t call themselves DHG. They have always kept using their full name btw.

So please move next two album to the Dodheimsgard page:

At the moment these two albums are merged with other artists with the same name.

One of these is an Irish group formerly known as Chewing on Tinfoil that changed their name to Chewie a few years back. There is also still an artist page under that name: https://www.deezer.com/us/artist/1052382
