Make track mix non repetitve

yes this is a hot topic around Flow, and our teams are working to improve Flow around your feedback. 

Our teams have done a lot of research around it, we had a testing group hee in the community about it. 

There have been improvement and Flow should not repeat as much as it used to. 
If it still does I would recommend feeding your algorythm more, listening to albums and playlists you like, 

adding songs to your favourits and more artists too. 

When the Flow or track Mix starts repeating itself, have you tried clicking on the angry face and using the directions there? 
That will help too!

In my experience Flow doesn’t play favourite albums or artists. I've manually added lots of those tacks to my favourites. Perhaps you can make an options to add all tracks from an album, playlist or artist to favourite tracks.

On another note; apparently I'm not such a smart cookie because I don’t understand what the private message was about and I couldn't reply there so I thought I'd do it here.

No flow does play only favourite albums or artists, it plays music based on your listening history and your favourites. 

You have to feed the algorythm from time to time so it does not get repetitive. 

@YulaFlow is already much less repetitive. I have 546 favourite tracks now.

I couldn't find anything about rank or badge there. When I searched for rank I got only results with range.

Before I said in my experience flow does NOT play favourite artists or albums.

A little while ago I was listening to a trance playlist. When it finished, recommended took over. The first 6 or so tracks where trance and then it changed to another music style. I pressed the angry face button twice to get back to trance music. 5 or 6 tracks later it happened again and so on. Judging from the article your AI should be able to recognize a music style. Is there a reason it changed the style every 5 or 6 tracks or so? At the moment it isn’t an issue because I found a playlist containing 897 tracks. :)

Hi @KDAM71 I can’t find any particular reason why you are getting this suggestion each 5/6 tracks. As said Deezer try to promote on the automated recommendation new artists, new content similar to what you are hearing. Might be that the tracks you are getting are incorrectly categorized in our catalog. I can’t assure that anyway.

We have lunched the Flow Genres from iOS and soon this same feature will be available on Android. So this might improve the whole experience. Let us know later your new experience with that.

I have a terrible example of repetitiveness for Track Mix.

The related problem is that it’s separated from other their work:

I’ve reported, maybe a few years ago, nothing has been changed.

So what, because of this mistake we have an artist page with a single EP.

I launch “Track Mix” for a single track from this EP, and get suggestions just by 3 other tracks from the same EP, nothing more:
