How to find clean version of songs on Deezer

Hi. Ive been trying to find clean versions of a few songs that i like. All i see is the explicit versions. I have a small kid at home and i usually listen to music on a loud speaker and coming from apple music was kind of used to having the choice to pick between either version. Does deezer only have explicit versions of some songs and not the clean option?

Hi there @Alina.Anees

You can find out more about hiding explicit content here - you can filter them away 😉

That wasn't the question though. It's not a case of disabling songs with explicit content, it's how to find cleaned up versions of those songs... and if they're even available

It's all about searching for the song @coopitas normally our search will provide both results, Explicit and Clean, if available. With the Explicit filter on, you only get the clean versions of a track :thumbsup_tone2:

Disappointing to see that this is still the same. I raised the same issue years ago too.

I don't understand why Deezer don't have the clean versions for all of the explicit content. 9 times of 10 the reason I find a song like that is because I have heard the radio edit on the radio yet all deezer have is the explicit versions.

It's been years Deezer - please sort this out!!

I don't want to have to filter out songs I like because Deezer won't list the radio edit.

Some releases there is no radio edit, like most hard dance.

The big part is on labels as well, they post to Deezer. Ask labels if they can include edited version.

I have the same issue! I play music at home on our speakers and it means I dont want to play anything that has “bitch” in which is quite difficult these days. Even taylor swift has “fuck” in her new album. So guys, deezer, please please please… we need the radio versions!!!

Hey @Riethvs

You can enable "Exclude explicit songs" in the account settings.
