Hi

Cannot play deezer playlists on google home with assistant just says sorry something went wrong?

Como puedo tener deezer premiun

Como puedo tener deezer premiun

You can buy it from Deezer site.

Could you also get a distribution agreement with NexTone (https://www.nex-tone.co.jp/en/)? They manage the rights to most of the music  I am missing on Deezer. And recently DECO*27, one of my favourite Japanese artists moved to NexTone, which means his new music won’t appear on Deezer. Which is something that would force me to move to a different streaming service eventually, I love your recommendation features, so that would hurt. However, Deezer would pretty much be the perfect music streaming service to me if it’s library contained the few songs I’m missing.

On DECO*27 (and other vocal synth/Vocaloid producers for that matter), there appear to be some songs that are wrongfully credited to certain artists in the niche, like this one:

Which is confirmed to be fraudulent here:

Those uploading these tracks are probably impersonating artists to make a quick buck, while preventing the revenue from going to actual artists. There are more suspicious tracks like this, but those have not been noticed by the artists yet. (Although it’s pretty clear they are impersonating the other artists, since they have been removed from Spotify and don’t look like they were made by the credited artist at all.) I wouldn’t be surprised if they came from the same source.), I can link those other tracks as well if you want.

I don’t know if this is also happening in other smaller genres, but people impersonating is not a good thing.

Final, possibly site-wide problem: Some artists appear to have been grouped as one while they are completely different people, whereas other artists have been split into different artist while they are the same person/group. The algorithm appears to be aware of the wrongfully merged artist pages, so it doesn’t influence flow and the daily mixes too much, but this being fixed would be nice.

I hope this post isn’t too long, but Deezer would be near-perfect to me if these things were added/fixed.

Thank you so much for your honest and detailed feedback @prechtig

It isn't long, all you've said is useful.

About the artists you find with issues, please do let us know as our metadata team is always looking to fix these profiles with the wrong info. We're also looking to automate a lot of our processes, so please hang in there.

About NexTone, I've passed your suggestions to our teams in the catalogue, to see if they can negotiate something for us. Thank you for reporting the incident above too :relaxed:

The info for the metadata team is going to be quite hectic and finding which albums belong to which artists will be quite a bit of work, so I’ll send a spreadsheet later, either here or in the appropriate thread.

And concerning the fake music there are two more tracks that I know of, being:

Removed from Spotify, no mentions other than machine generated stuff, not even by the credited artists. Doesn’t sound like the credited artists’ work at all. Album art looks nothing like the credited artists’ other album art.

and:

No mentions other than machine generated stuff, not even by the credited artists. Seems to be a loop of some bland copyright-free music and there’s no way Maretu would make something that sounds like this. And, most importantly, doriko, the other credited artist, no longer makes music. So him releasing new music would not go unnoticed. And again, album art looks nothing like the credited artists’ other album art

Furthermore, both tracks were released on the same day, so it’s likely that they are connected.

I hope these tracks either get removed or fixed. (Although they don’t look like mistakes to me.)

Thanks for replying this fast and passing my suggestion to the catalogue team, I hope they’ll come to an agreement with NexTone since it looks like they manage a lot of music.

I found another one:

Who is doing this stuff?

I’m sorry for posting this much. (These posts can be deleted once the fraudulent tracks are gone.)

@Rudi I gathered quite a few wrong artist pages with issues. My document got too long to paste in a forum post, so I put it in a pdf. I also linked four more falsely credited tracks in my other replies, two of which I found while gathering info on the artist pages.

For some regular chill forum talk: DEMONDICE, she’s American but lives in Japan and works with lot of Japanese artists and her lyrics contain a lot of Japanese. Criminally underrated. (Only 255 fans on Deezer.) And the last time I’ve had sushi is way to long ago.

I forgot one artist page, so here it is. I think I’m done now.

Hi there @prechtig

Thank you so much for this. I've sent the pdf and txt to our catalogue teams - amazing work! I'll let you know once I have their reply :relaxed:
