The shaker mix concept is fantastic.
However, when testing it with a friend, we discovered it doesn't work without Deezer. Despite importing libraries, the absence of a "create playlist" option for other services like YouTube Music or Spotify, and its reliance on a single song, is disappointing.
The limitation wasn’t immediately clear; it required research and testing to figure out, which adds to the confusion. For someone not using Deezer, this could lead to a negative first impression.
Implementing a playlist creation feature is crucial for engaging these users and enhancing their experience. It would also serve as a great opportunity to introduce Deezer to those familiar with other platforms.
This service could significantly increase Deezer's awareness in other markets by allowing seamless music sharing. Without this capability, it seems more like a push towards using Deezer rather than genuinely sharing music and I’d like to see it leave a positive first impression.
For now I have to hold off sending to more friends as the limitation is pretty glaring.
