Why don't my devices synchronise?

Sometimes (actually, quite often) I am listening to music that is playing via my Samsung phone.  I’m using Flow, so when a song comes on that I like (or hate) I open Deezer on my Mac to like it (or select not to recommend it).

When it works, it works well.  Quite often though, the queue on my Mac does not reflect the current Flow playlist.  I have a reasonable internet connection to both devices… (and yes I have the latest version and yes I have tried turning it off and on again, and yes everything should be working normally...)

Is there a way to force a sync?  What is the problem here?

I really don’t want to distract from the main point (above), but on a related note - is there a way to select “Don’t recommend this track” from the Android interface?  I can’t find a way to choose this or display the queue.

Touch the “angry face.” Click “Don’t recommend this track.”

It also offers “Change the Style,” which changes Flow. For me, if Flow gets stuck in a genre I’m not in the mood for at that moment, I hit “Charge the Style.” That’s how I use it anyway.

Yea, it’s not obvious.

Thanks, I should have been able to work that out… but I find the mobile app interface confusing in many ways

Today my Mac Deezer has again synchronised with the mobile… but it is very frustrating when it doesn’t.  Does no-one else have this problem?

My sync works fine. But it can take a while (a couple of minutes or maybe a couple of hours, I haven’t measured it). But it gets there eventually. Not a problem.

Same with Downloads to my Android device, it can take a while, but gets there.

I would say that a couple of hours to synchronise is indeed a big problem!

When it works, it’s great.  I can look at the playlist and see what song is playing on my other device.  I can choose to like or unlike that song.

When it doesn’t work, I can’t do that without accessing my other device which can be in another room and it means I have to interrupt the “flow” of my work.

Well, I can't help you with that. Life can be hard! Perseverance!
