Hi all,

The above option has appeared in my Audio Settings on my Android phone. Can someone tell me what this means, as I can't see how to make this work on Sonos

Thanks

It means that you should have the same play queue independent from the device and app which you use for Deezer. It also remembers the position where you closed the app when restarting, i.e. it automatically loads the same play queue again at the beginning of the last song, even if you changed the device.

I have no idea why that may not work with your Sonos device, but it does for me e.g. with the desktop app and web player.

Thanks for coming back @jeden, that's my point, it needs to be activated across all devices/apps to remember where you left it. Apologies if I misunderstood it

Hi @Rudi

I think there’s a misunderstanding here - or it’s me not understanding how this is supposed to work. I do NOT want to sync the queue on all devices, I want each device to have its own queue

Got it @jeden that's all I need to know now

I'll have to pass the info to our devs who work with the desktop app in that case - thank you for your patience :v_tone2:

I want to be able to be listening on my desktop app, then seamlessly switch to listening on my phone exactly where I left off in the playlist/queue/song. Spotify seems to do this easily. They even let you control your music with more than just the device you're listening on. Also, make the desktop app integrated with discord so people can see what I'm listening to. Personally, I grant that Spotify is a superior app, but Deezer has a better recommendation album and that's why I give them my money.

Hey @darkwolfxj

Thank you for your support, it means a lot. Please note that we already have synched queue lists, as you'll see above and here

Not working!

and not only it’s not working, I can use the same Family member at the same time at two different devices. meaning my family subscription is useless and I can switch back to Deezer Premium.

I tried everything, log-off from all devices, unlink all devices and link them back, yet it’s not working.

I am using the latest Android version on my mobile and deezer.com via Chrome on my PC.

Make sure to activate the sync on the browser too @gazoom and please try clearing cache + cookies to see if it helps and report back to us, if you can! I'll pass it on :thumbsup_tone2:

Yeah, queue sync does not work for me either. I have a problem on desktop that I get an old queue when I start up Deezer if Queue sync is turned off (I have created a ticket for it.) Enabling Queue sync makes the correct last used queue show at startup, but the sync does not work. In other words: turning queue sync on gives me the behavior I want, separate queues on different devices - with the correct queue resumed at startup.

Still not working!
My is flagged, and it only sync the queue when it is a saved playlist, my or from any other user, but If I build one sporadically, it do not sync! VERY, VERY ANNOYING! And I don’t think that the price for the premium service is cheap for something like that to happen constantly!

This post is from 4 years ago and the issue still exists!
