Samsun Watch 7 & Deezer

Hello, 

Been a Deezer subscriber for a long time now. I just got a Samsung watch 7 for my with a standalone LTE plan (not tethered to my phone) and I cannot not seem to find Deezer in the google playstore. 

This watch is setup for my 11yo daughter so the watch is in “kid mode” through google Family and Verizon (in the USA). I’m wondering if anyone can confirm that they have downloaded Deezer directly onto their Samsung watch that has a dedicated standalone LTE service. 

YouTube music, Spotify and a slue of other services are available for her to download on the watch….. Deezer seems to be missing.

The Deezer app might not be immediately visible in the Google Play Store on your Samsung Watch 7 due to a few reasons. It could be a compatibility issue, or the app might not have a companion app on the phone side.


Verify that your Samsung Watch 7 is compatible with the Deezer app. Deezer requires WearOS 3 or 4, a Deezer Premium, Duo, or Family account, and a compatible Android phone according to Deezer. 

If the app doesn't appear on the watch's Play Store, it might not have a phone companion app. In this case, try searching for it directly on the browser-based Google Play Store.

Hi and thank you for the response.

Unfortunately, there is no companion device for this watch as it has its own standalone plan. It's basically a cellphone but on your wrist with its own data plan. It has One UI version 6.0 so I'm thinking that is better than 3 and 4?

 

I thought maybe there was a restriction on Deezer because the watch is in kid mode. We do have a premium account.
