I know how to download a music playlist, but I don't know how to download an individual song. Does anyone have an idea how to do this?

You can download an individual song only if it was published separately as a single
or if that one song is on the playlist.
If you have a downloaded playlist, then every new song you add will be on that playlist and there is no need to download the song separately.
