I have version 9.0.0.2, on Android 16 on a Samsung S25 Plus

It is using a lot more power, as in draining the battery in four hours from fully charged, along with loading playlists very slowly,  and I also cannot add playlists to my queue any more.  It is very slow / laggy in general now, and this is a fairly new high end phone too. This all started about two weeks ago, I have tried restarting my phone. I notice this happened around the same time the "Launch Track Mix" feature was added.

If I uninstall and reinstall the app will I need to redownload all my downloaded playlists?

Hi @Peter Jenkins !

The battery drain you're experiencing with the Deezer app on your Samsung S25 Plus is likely due to a combination of factors, including recent OS and app updates, and how the app runs in the background. To fix this, first, check for and install any new updates for both Android and the Deezer app. Then, adjust your phone's settings to limit background activity, specifically "Background usage limits," and clear the app's cache.

NOTE : Clear Cache ⚠️ This will delete your downloads too. But don’t worry you’ll be able to download them again easily.

You can also try disabling "Adaptive Battery" temporarily or put Deezer into "Deep Sleep" or "Sleep".
