Deezer player widget disappeared (android)?

After streaming to Chromecast, the player widget disappers on my up to date Pixel 6. Same problem still present. I have to reinstall it. Each time. Last time the player widget wasn't available to install. Had to restart my phone. Still no fix after 2 years?

I'm having the same issue on my Pixel 6 with up to date. As soon as i cast, the player widget disapear. Help!

Hi Deezer widget has just disappeared from my home screen after casting to Google home device for first time. I've been connecting via Bluetooth and using it fine since getting my phone a week ago. Using a Pixel 6. I can see previous issues reported here are quite old any help or advice please?

Tried uninstall/install and turning off and on again

I have the same issue on my Mi 9

And I’ve been experiencing it for 2+ years now (tried 4+ reinstalls)

After chromecasting to TV - the widget dissapears, reappears after phone restart
I usually manually re-add it to my homescreen after casting
I also have the “Start Flow” widget (1x1 button) - it doesn’t have issues after chromecasting

This is issue still persists 4 years after being reported. Can you please fix it?

Hello! Why do I have to replace a Deezer widget on my home screen in android 13 every time I start your app? It just refuses to refresh! Correct it ASAP!

Hi @Dmytro Grebinyk apologies for that UX. Indeed we have a couple of reports mentioning the issue on the widgets.

We also could replicate same on our side, so we already moved this to an incident.

I will send you an email that will be linked to that incident so as soon as there are news, you will get it on your email.

Any progress on this?  Pixel 7 Pro with the latest software, the widget disappears if I cast, and the notification in the pull-down drawer also tends to stop existing if I’ve been casting for an extended period.

This is a lie. There is no way that this has been a problem for over 4 years if your development team is “actively working on it.” I have never had this disappearing widget issue with any other audio or video apps, and I cast with them all.
