Whenever I hit “Shuffle my music” Deezer will play a mix of mostly songs I’ve favourited but also occasionally a new song I’ve never heard before. I like this feature (I’m assuming it’s intentional?), but about 50% of the new songs that come up are Ryan Adams songs. I don’t like them and skip them. 

Of the 800+ songs in my Favourites I only have 1 Ryan Adams song in there and don’t play it much.

Why does Deezer insist on pushing this artist? And how can I tell it I don’t want to listen to them anymore?

On the angry face in playback mode select "do not recommend this artist" or you can do it directly in the artist's profile in the 3 dots, with that in a short time it will stop playing this artist.

I don’t have that button (on the browser version). I just see the heart and plus icons on the left, and the lyrics, playlist, cast, volume, and equalizer buttons on the right.

As ​@CharlyMX  mentioned above, you can exclude a song from an artist on Deezer mobile app .

 

There is also an option to exclude an artist from your recommendations on Desktop Deezer app

➡️ tap/click on 3 dots beside artist profile ➡️ Don’t recommend this artist

This seems to have worked.

Still it would be interesting to know why Deezer seems to really like Ryan Adams so much haha!
