Is anyone else having trouble uploading there own mp3's on the desktop version of Deezer. I was able to do it last night and now it uploads but its in fate font and has the date next to it and says "this track is not available yet". Is this because there are in the Beta stage of getting this corrected?

I would recommend them to have a way to upload albums too.

Let me know if there is a fix to this (updated my flash player with little luck).

Hi @elevatorboy , have you tried to delete and upload the mp3s again?

The same exact thing is happening to me...with zero answers as to why. :rolling_eyes:

I would appreciate if you all you kind people who don’t know the answer would stop offering obvious and pointless suggestions such as delete/re-install, we covered that in the ‘90s, and we who are confronted with this problem are pulling our hair out trying to find a solution to share with the universe, and believe me, we have tried all of the simplistic ideas that anyone can think of without any help from the peanut gallery. If you don’t know the solution don’t respond, all you are doing is drawing attention to yourself without contributing to a solution.

I have have googled this near to death. “This track is not available yet” is without explanation. My mp3 files remain playable by many other services yet Deezer cannot upload them. I have tried exporting via Audacity with CBR, no go. I have tried multiple conversions via File Converter by Online-convert.com, e.g. converting the original file to WAV and other formats and then back to mp3: no go. No luck with Zamzar, usually spot-on for conversions. What is about these mp3 files that Deezer does not like? The pertinent data (the music) cannot be the issue, I am thinking that perhaps there is some metadata that offends Deezer. DRM? Did the original publisher put in a poison pill? Has anyone had success ripping to CD and uploading mp3 from CD to Deezer? I just downloaded a song I purchased from amazon, the download was successful and plays fine on a service that is not Amazon but will not upload to Deezer.

It could be DRM. But hey, let's be proactive here. Can you upload the MP3 to Google Drive or similar so that I can check this with our devs directly?

Also, are you using 4.32.20 in order to upload them?

I am using deezer online on Firefox 86.0, Ubuntu 20.10. I don’t know what 4.32.20 refers to but on my Android (11) phone I have deezer version 6.2.21.90, but I cannot upload from the phone.

@Rudi I just ran into this issue too, with tracks that I literally just ripped from an old cd. Are there any more answers as to what this means?

Mine shows the date July 09, for what it’s worth.

So this is happening on your recently uploaded MP3s? Have you tried repeating the process? In what platform did you upload them through?

I did try repeating the process multiple times but it didn’t work. However, as soon as the day rolled over to July 9th, my files became available. Some kind of server processing delay or something?

I can select the track but it says “This track is unavailable” when I play it.

I am having the same problem, I have updated Deezer, and tried restarting it, and my other custom songs loaded, just cant get the last one to upload

I too am experiencing this problem. I believe it has something to do with a unbelievably weird funk that is within Deezer. It has something to do with time, yes the literal time. As noted above someone mentioned that when the time flipped over to the next day the upload was then available, so that led me to do some experimenting. I uploaded a file at 8pm Eastern time, mp3 file said not available, so then I went to my computers date and changed it to a time zone in which it was already “tomorrow” (in this case an Australian zone), hit the sync time, refreshed Deezer browser window and BOOM the mp3 track was available! Still playing around and experimenting with changing time back and forth to see if track will remain if time is set back. This is totally bizarre and something the Deezer devs need to address!

Same problem and lesdanie’s quick fix worked. It is 100% A deezer problem/bug. Setting your time back it no longer works. This whole MP3 upload section needs a lot of work. Theres no information letting you know that the file is actually uploading and refreshing shows a random amount of mp3s even a hard refresh. The whole page needs a TON of work it is 1/10 Quality. Whoever was responsible for its development should be reprimanded, they are truly faking it till they make it.

Yes. We are following the article.  The uploads are greyed out and say “This track is not available yet” When the time changes to the NEXT DAY the tracks become available.

I found something related to the bug. If you upload anytime after 5PM on your local time, the tracks aren’t available until the next day. 

Very interesting find AshtonB, just tried it with changing times around again, and yes this problem is definitely some quirk within the Deezer app! (and “quirk” is putting it mildly!)  Honestly Yula I cannot believe that Deezer is unaware of this and that support article does nothing to “fix” this. I work with tons of high functioning and “needy” programs in my work; we are talking about film/hd editing, graphic design, Blu-ray/DVD writing, website coding, etc., (think you get the point….I have been in the media industry over 20 years) and have dealt with with different software and hardware issues. I even build and upgrade computers/laptops. This is one of the most bizarre software issues I have ever encountered and, especially with the price hike Deezer just made a few months ago, it needs to be fixed! It’s totally annoying I can’t simply extract tracks off CDs I have and import into Deezer; sorry that some songs you do not have in your catalog and I also compose my own music tracks and want to input them to listen on my phone.  Please fix this issue! I would have already gone to another music provider but, fortunately for Deezer, my spouse likes this app and doesn't want to switch...yet.

I am also having this issue. Some songs work fine after I run them through a converter and set the constant bit rate to 50, but others do not. This is a confusing problem as I have not found a fix for the track not being available yet. All of these songs are from the same playlist and channel of an album that is not available on Deezer. It does not make sense that some songs from this album work fine but others do not, even when applying the same process. Please find a fix for this.

Could you please confirm if you followed all the steps below to upload your mp3 files:

-Go to Favorites and click on "My MP3s."

Tip: If you can't find "My MP3s," click on the "More" tab.

-Select "SELECT MP3s TO UPLOAD."
-Choose the MP3 files from your computer.

I have made multiple attempts to do exactly as you stated with no success. I selected the MP3s and when I clicked on the tab absolutely nothing happened. I have restarted my computer and that didn’t help either. 
I don’t see a more tab anywhere. The article about uploading MP3s to my Deezer account doesn’t give me anything helpful.  Something that should be simple is absolutely not.
