Hello!

I wanted to point out a strange phenomenon that occurs almost every month on the monthly playlist that Deezer assembles of "supposedly" most played tracks for the previous month.

There is always a completely unknown artist (or song) I've never heard of, less likely listened to that month or ever. I guess no algorithmically generated playlist can't be a perfect summary of my taste, since I don't share my account with anyone, it is quite annoying.

And IF I have listened to a song once because it came up in FLOW, how can it make on my "Top songs" that month?

I hope it's just an annoying bug.

This month that "most listened song" is the only one without a heart.

Hello @Vjeko P, this is very weird and should not be happening,

on my top tracks I never get song I never listened to, do you share your account with someone else?

In this case? Which one is the artist you never listened to?

Hi @Yula

Yes, I find it strange also, since I don't share my account with anyone. The artist in question is "Afflecks Palace". I don't even have them in my liked artists and don't remember ever hearing that band or that song. On the other hand, certain artists I have listened to quite a lot are hardly represented with one or two songs. I hope it's just a silly bug. 😆

Hi @Vjeko P,
It could be that you logged in other devices maybe?

Anyway I have asked to our Data Science team to check when and how many times this track was listen in May.

When I get a feedback from them, I will come back to you.

Hi @Vjeko P, I received the feedback of our Data Science team and they inform me that the track “Wide Eyes On The Night Bus” has 5 listens + 2 skips, during a playlist_mix session on smart TV.
According our analise the track is featured on your own playlist - https://www.deezer.com/en/playlist/11276624824

The monthly music newsletter compute statistics at track level. So listening a full album of an artist twice will only count 2 play per track. Sometimes it's not enough to be featured on the report (compared to a single track from an artist listened 4 times for ex.)

Hi @Leonídia.Deezer

Thanks so much for the effort! I'm trying to figure out the whole stream/count thing, so this wasvery helpful. 👍🏻
