There seems to be no option to download podcast to listen to offline

Yeah I'm in the United States, I was even chatting with support who said they will have to get back to me.  Download isnt an option for me.

Yes Sir, that's what I have but I saw where the option for podcast download is not available in the United States.  Is there anything on the works to change this? 

Hello @windowru, we do not have  specific information about this, but as podcasts on streaming platforms are becoming more and more important, our teams are working hard on making the podcasts feature available to most countries. Hopefully this will be the case for the US soon.

Any updates on having usa users be able to download podcasts?

HI @Frojams not yet as far as I am concerned due to rights in the US.
Can you confirm if you are not able to download any podcast at all or the problem is just with specific podcasts? Do you get any error message?

I would like answers because this is what is preventing me from deleting Spotify. 

I'd love to make Deezer my main music and podcast app, but there's no way to download podcast episodes even though it says there is. Guess it's a feature they meant to add but never got around to?? Anyway, until they add this feature, I'm stuck downloading my podcasts on Amazon music instead…

This says to tap the options button next to the episode to download, but when I do there is nothing there about downloading the episode... 

Apparently, US Android users can't download podcast episodes..:

Note: Downloaded episodes of podcasts are only available on mobile for paid subscribers in Austria, Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom
