When I make a playlist, I like to have the album from which the song came listed in the “Album” column. Recently, when an artist or label has released a ‘Greatest Hits’ album or other compliation, the album in my playlist automatically changes to the new compilation album. Please stop doing this. It messes with the aesthetic, it complicates searches and “Sort by Album”, and the wrong album comes up on the display when the song plays.

I’d bet money this is automatically done to advertise the new album, which is something for which I pay a subscription every year to avoid.
