Question

remove artists or songs from My Deezer Year

I have one song in my top 10 that I've never heard of in my life, and I am a music junkie. It seems very strange. I also always have a song or two that is from my kids asking our Google home to play a song (which is connected to my account). My top song is the clean up song by coco melon. While true that it may have been played the most by my kids when they clean, it's not representative of my tastes. Is it possible to remove a song that isn't relevant?

Also, I would very much like the one song "in a big country by big country" removed as I have never heard it before and I can't find it on any of my playlists, so I have no idea how it could have been played so many times over the course of a year. I have curated over 100 playlists and I pretty much exclusively listen to my own playlists, so it doesn't add up. I've seen that I am not the only one with random songs on their top 10, so this is clearly an issue across the board.

I am aware I can edit the actual playlist, but I'm speaking more to the actual my Deezer year story. I look forward to it every year but it takes the fun out of it when there are artists or songs that aren't true or irrelevant. Considering it's only one song, and I'm on my app constantly, I do not believe I have an issue with someone stealing my information and listening on my account. I have never gotten the error that I'm listening on a different device or something.

Hi @dakmitch have you checked on “My Deezer Month” on previous months if any of these songs also appear within the stats?

I don’t see a way to check multiple months back, only the previous month. The previous month does not have the one song in particular that I have never heard before. For context, it says i listened to it 18 times in the year, which if that was the case i would definitely notice. I checked with my wife and kids and it is not on any of their playlists either nor do they know it.

As for the kids songs, my top song was “the clean up song” by cocomelon, which is probably accurate but clearly not a song that has any representation of my tastes, my kids just put it on when we make them clean up. In that case, I was wondering if it was possible to just adjust the list to remove songs that are not representative.
