Music Quality

When I listen to music first them it is written near it that it is HIFI music, however, as I download them, deezer automatically changes their quality to lower ones, or at least there is no HIFI or HQ word near them anymore. I have selected my download as HIFI, and my internet connection is quite fast. But why can’t I download music in HIFI? Some of them show HIFI, then I change music others doesn’t posses it. BTW only small amount of music from my playlist have HIFI quality althrough initially most of them were HIFI quality. What is it so and how can I overcome this issue? I am really disappointed as I can even sense the difference in quality.

Hi @Tural Suleymanov,

I’ve tried to download HiFi quality and a standard quality on my iPhone and Android.

The download of the HiFi quality took a while longer and the standard quality was ready within a couple of seconds.

I do think that the downloads are in HiFi quality.

And if you mean the word HIFI in the picture of the album, it’s visible at my end.

Thank you for your answer, sir, I appreciate it. In my case unfortunately there is no badge of HIFI after download. And it is kind of random, because I have re-downloaded my playlist, and now I see HIFI sign on other couple of music in my playlist which didn’t have it before. But the ones which had it, now don’t. Very interesting situation). I personally try to download all my music only in HIFI format as my headphones let me to heat the difference, but the problem is there…

There has been an issue regarding the HIFI badge in the past. Sometimes it does show and sometimes it doesn’t. This could be still possible when reading your message.
