Huge gaps between songs and long delays before any songs play

Over the past few weeks I have noticed a REALLY annoying issue when listening to music via deezer.com (not the desktop app).

When selecting a song to play I have to wait up to 30secs before the song starts playing, and don’t get me started on the delay/gaps between songs when I am shuffling my playlists!!

Has anyone noticed this? I would download the desktop app and hope this resolves the issue but I use a company laptop and they do not allow the desktop app to be present on this device.

I check my connection speed thinking its this however I never see speeds that would affect streaming to this degree.

Its starting to get beyond a joke now, listening on Alexa, my phone does not have this issue. anyone got any ideas?

I am not using the app, this is through the website as the app cannot be installed on my machine.

I have deleted all cookies etc and delays still persist.

Hi, try this tip:
Clear the app's cache in Settings -> Data and storage -> Delete all (if you have downloaded tracks, you'll need to download them again).
And increase the app's cache in Settings -> Data and storage.

If it still doesn't work, please contact support so they can help you with the problem on your device. Please provide details of the problem, as well as your device's brand and model, and the app and operating system versions. I’ve been using Deezer also via the website sometimes and I don’t have this on my Mac or Windows pc.

On the PC I use MS Edge and on the MacBook Pro I use Safari. Dit you try another browser? 

Could it be that your employer has made some security‑related changes in the browser or on their network, which is why you’re experiencing this now?

What CharlyMX is suggesting is the best way to go I think if above isn’t the case.
