MochaX

MochaX is a global girl group consisting of two members, Moon and Star. The group is currently preparing for its debut and working on its first original song, “Mochas.”

The Beginning of MochaX

The idea for MochaX started while Moon and Star were skating together. Moon mentioned wanting to become an idol and realized that Star also wanted to become one. Moon then asked if they should create a group together and become members. They started spending more time together, talking about the group and developing ideas. Over time, they became close friends and eventually best friends.

Developing the MochaX Style

At first, Moon and Star were strongly inspired by K-pop groups such as BTS and BLACKPINK. As they developed MochaX, they realized that rap-heavy and deep-energy songs did not fit their personalities as well. They wanted something softer, energetic and dreamy, which led them toward a style inspired by groups such as ILLIT while still developing their own identity.

The Name MochaX

While creating the group, Moon and Star first came up with the fandom name “Mochas.” They wanted the fandom to have a soft and kawaii feeling. Later, they came up with “X,” which represents Moon and Star. Together, these ideas became MochaX.

Debut Song

MochaX is currently working on its first original song, “Mochas,” which is planned to be the group's debut song. The song is about their fandom, Mochas, making their first release directly connected to the people who support them.

Members' Voices

Moon and Star have different vocal tones and voices. This can sometimes make choosing songs for covers difficult, but their voices work well across many different songs. Both members enjoy singing and performing together.

Group Identity

MochaX focuses on music, performance, creativity and K-pop-inspired content while developing its own identity. The group's style is mainly soft, energetic and dreamy. Moon and Star have also chosen to keep their faces private for now, adding a mysterious element to the group's identity.
