Collaborative playlist not working (Family account)

I’ve created a playlist and set it to “collaborative”. I sent the link to my sister, who has her own profile on the same family account as me. She favourited the playlist so she should now be able to add songs to the playlist, but she still doesn’t have the option. What am I missing? Can family accounts not use the Collaborative Playlist feature?

Hi @leadiyon !

She can't add tracks on usual way on playlist which is not created by herself .

On collaborative playlist which is created from someone else, she can add songs only if she open playlist and tap/click on + Add tracks

Hi @Nina Nebo,

I understand that, but the “add tracks” button does not appear for her even though she has favourited the playlist.

Favoriting the playlist is not necessary for this option.
The playlist creator just needs to turn ON Collaborative
and turn OFF Private.

If Collaborative is turned on, then all users, including your sister, can add tracks to that playlist. But then the playlist cannot be Private and you cannot influence who will add tracks to it.

The playlist is set to collaborative, private is switched off, and the “add tracks” button still doesn’t appear.

On which device does the problem occur ?

The problem occurs for both my sister and my father. Both have I-Phones (12 and 8).
