🎵 FIND THE TITLE OF THE WEEK (02/04/24) 🎵

Every week, try to discover the title of a famous song by deciphering our emojis!

Rules of Emoji Tuesday here

Tuesday Emoji of the week: 🚘🪨🏢

Answer in a comment (if no one has found it before...)!

Feel free to make your best guess, and I will try to provide a small hint for each guess made until we get a winner!

Seinfeld gif. In Jerry's kitchen (where else?) Michael Richards as Kramer speaks to Jerry with the usual jittery enthusiasm and a thumbs up. Text, "A long, drawn-out 'giddy-up!'"

Maybe it's a rock song. 🪨

Since it’s Saturday and the quiz has stalled, I am offering up a hint:

The song title is three words, and each emoji represents one of the words. Only one of the words is conceptual.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...mmmmmm…

Maybe some song by Jon Secada in which he sings about a little red car?

😅

I like where your head is at here, but unfortunately not.

Your first guess was on the right track, with genre and with one of the words.

@GropplerZorn @Jaime.

I tried different combinations and couldn't find a suitable song. As compensation, I offer the following 3 songs, knowing that I have not achieved the class goal:

Red Car (Nipplegate 🙈):

Rock

House or Building… hmm

I apologize for the third tip. I like word games… 🤪

@E0xc815 none of those are correct, but you have distinguished yourself with your efforts, which clearly lead the week.

another hint: your guess at “rock” was correct and is one the words in the song title.

@GropplerZorn

Could the car also mean the activity? Drive?

@GropplerZorn

Could the car also mean the activity? Drive?

That is the one emoji that isn’t literal, so yes.

I also think that one will be the most challenging. I think I might have made it too difficult, especially for non-Americans (another hint).

Ok, so: I'll try it again now... thinking about many many many corners.

“Difficult for non-Americans”, related to the car. Furthermore, it's not about the activity, but about the origin.
Cars from USA -> Could be Detroit.
The rock was clear relatively quickly, so "Detroit Rock..."
The building could also represent many buildings, i.e. a city.

My answer is:
Detroit Rock City by KISS

Well done, @E0xc815 !

YAAY

A great display of deduction to get to the right solution. When do we get a new question?

The game starts fresh every Tuesday!

Congrats @E0xc815 !

Congratulations @E0xc815 for correctly guessing the music on Tuesday's Emoji game!

Great job! 🎉🎶
