:cyclone: Endless loading? If your phone app isn't loading the tracks or it's stuck with the message "Error: requested content is not loading", don't worry :smirk: . Try the steps mentioned below.

After each step, try playing the music again. If it’s still not working, go to the next step.

Steps for Android

  1. Restart the app (kill the app and remove it from the notification bar)
  2. Try another network (4G or Wifi)
  3. Restart your phone
  4. Delete all the cache & data from the app (Data and storage, and then “Clear all”), then restart the app
  5. Un-install the app and re-install the app

Steps for iOS

  1. Quit and relaunch the app
  2. Try another mobile (4G or Wifi)
  3. Empty Smart Cache
  4. Restart the phone
  5. Clear the app data
  6. Delete the app and reinstall it

Hello @frederico.costa.galvao, I’ve moved your message here as it’s most likely an issue with the cache (temporary data) on your Android. Follow carefully the steps shown in the diagram at the beginning of this topic, including deleting the cache of the device and you should be good to go.

Let us know how it goes

@Kevin Deezer  I should have mentioned it in the original post: I know about the caches, I’ve gone through the process of cleaning them before I did the original post, both on the app level (from within Deezer) and on the OS level (from Android app management). None of these solved the issue.

Also thanks for moving my message to a better place, I should’ve done a better job at searching the right place to post it.

Hey @frederico.costa.galvao, no worries, it’s our job and we’re happy to help  Your issue is indeed a weird one, if you did apply all the steps recommended in the troubleshooting. Can you go to audio setttings and try changing the audio quality, to see if it changes anything?

Have a nice day

Just tried playing it again on all possible quality levels, clearing the cache inbetween before every attempt, and the problem is still there.

However, I just tested something different which is very interesting: If I stream these songs to my Google Nest Mini (playing on phone, just streaming audio to Nest as a speaker), it works perfectly.  I play the song on my phone, it’s failing and jumping, I start streaming to Nest (without pausing the song or changing any setting), and it plays perfectly on Nest.
I seems to have something to do with the decoding of these songs on my phone when using the phone’s own speaker, unless Deezer handles the downloaded data differently when casting.
I hope that helps dig deeper into this bug.

I’ve been using Deezer in South Korea for several years now, it’s been pretty stable up until the last few months or so.

Recently, when selecting a song, it takes a long time to load, and then when it finally plays, it stops and starts, constantly buffering.

It’s so irritating, is there any solution? What’s going on with Deezer’s servers here? Have they been forced out the country by Melon/Genie/Kakao/Naver Music?

Let me know, because there’s no point paying for this while its essentially unusable.

Many thanks

Hi there @frederico.costa.galvao

Thanks for reporting and sharing with us. It's very interesting indeed.

What phone do you have? Does it have an SD card? Have you tried changing the audio settings to a different quality to see if it plays? Or with a different network (your Mini could use WiFi while the phone could be on mobile)?

Hi Rudi,

As I mentioned before in my first comment (https://en.deezercommunity.com/android-47/error-requested-content-is-not-loading-fail-to-load-content-62478?postid=161056#post161056), my phone is an OnePlus 7 Pro (Android 10, Oxygen OS 10.0.5.GM21BA, no SD card) and I originally reported that <I use “Better” audio quality, no normalization>.
Also, as I mentioned on my previous comment (https://en.deezercommunity.com/android-47/error-requested-content-is-not-loading-fail-to-load-content-62478?postid=161579#post161199), I also tested on all quality levels and audio settings, with no change at all with regards to the issue.

Regarding WiFi: For me to do as I mentioned in my previous comment, to switch seamlessly between phone and Google Mini as a speaker, I need to be on the WiFi, so that’s for sure (I was on the same WiFi as the Mini at the time, exactly in the same room). I have also tested, multiple times, using mobile data and other WiFis, and nothing changed.

The summary is: no matter what I do, that Polyphia album is always broken with audio skipping. Let me know if you need any other information, or if you want me to test anything else.

Hello @captainboobles, follow the troubleshooting steps shown in the diagram at the beginning of this topic, this should solve the issue. Don’t forget to delete the cache of your device, this is one of the most important steps.

Have a nice day

Hi there @frederico.costa.galvao

Apologies for not seeing your previous replies - in my view, they're in the previous page. And my colleague Kevin had replied to you.

I've listened to the album in question - it's hard for me to say if the tracks are defective because I don't know the artist, but I noticed some abnormalities in some of them. So I've decided to report this further - thank you for your patience and support :v_tone2:

@Rudi Please, let me know if the team further along the chain is able to find and solve any issues on this album. If not, I’d love to be able to help provide more information to debug.

I was also able to collect a bit more information on this:

  • I asked a friend with a Moto G8 to test it, and he did not see the issue.
  • I also noticed that, among all 3 audio outputs I have available, 2 have the issue and 1 doesn’t:
    - [fails] phone speaker
    - [fails] bluetooth headset
    - [works] Google Mini through WiFi casting

App just keeps on "loading " almost there? I have fiber can't be my Internet and I have premium

Dear Deazer

I’ve had this issue before but has been awhile.

I’ve cleared my cache but still my playlist keeps stoping after playing a few songs.  I’m on a free account

Please can you help

Thank you

Hello @Morne Volschenk we are very sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Please bear in mind that listening to music is using loads of data. In case the issue only happens with mobile data, try strong Wifi or make sure your music is downloaded for sure.

Otherwise, could you please perform all of these troubleshooting steps again, exactly in the order mentioned. Otherwise it does not fix it.

Please keep in mind this will remove any downloaded songs on this device, but you can easily download them again afterwards, from your Favourites.

  1. Click on My Music/Favourites (the little heart) >>> Gear Wheel JiE3V4t.png>>> App Settings >>> Smart Cache>>> slide the blue button towards the middle of the line.
  2. If you are using the battery saving mode on your device please turn it off for once and try to test Deezer again.
  3. Click on My Music/Favourites (the little heart) >>> Gear Wheel JiE3V4t.png>>> App Settings >>> Disc Usage >>>Clear All
  4. uninstall Deezer
  5. remove the SD card
  6. restart your phone
  7. reinstall Deezer (available on Google Play)
  8. open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist and play one song
  9. reinsert the SD card

This should fix the issue but please let me know if you need any further help

Hello @Brumilda Beetge  Try to follow each step shown in the diagram at the beginning of this topic, not only deleting the cache. What device do your own?

Have a nice day

Im having  problems with songs jumping on my samsung phone.  I've cleared the cache to no avail this is the 3rd time its happened I've had to uninstall and re installed before but i then loose all my downloaded songs and have to painstakingly  re add albums and favourites for the amount of money it costs this shouldn't really be happening.

Hi! I have problems. My music doesn't switch on its own, other songs don't go either. At first, when the Deezer page reloads, everything works fine, but when three minutes pass, the songs do not switch at all, but stop. Please tell me what to do in this situation

Hello @Jane Lincoln, on which device do you have this issue?

Hello @Lynsey.Moorhouse, any specific songs? Does it happen only on your Samsung?

:cyclone: Endless loading? If your phone app isn't loading the tracks or it's stuck with the message "Error: requested content is not loading", don't worry :smirk: . Try the tips mentioned below.

  • If you're on Android, you can clear your cache to see if it helps. For that, you need to go on settings > app > clear all
  • If you're on iOS, all you need to do is to reinstall the app

If you need further help, take a look:

I began having this issue today but only on certain songs. I have followed the above steps for android  and now the app wont load any songs at all. Any other fixes available for this

This issue has just started today. I have followed the trouble shooting guides and repeated the process multiple times and I'm still getting the same error message.

Hello, Im trying to use the app on my tbalet which is Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 but for sime reason the app does not play any music anymore, it wkrks fine on my Huawei P20 Pro (same account), Ive already tried to uninstall the app, clear cache and I have still the error fIl to load content. Why is that so?

I really enjoy Deezer but one of my playlists that had 2000 tracks in it now only has 954 tracks in it now and I cleared the cache and everything but all my music is still not there!!!
