subscription fee

One Hit Wonder

Hi! I recently joined Deezer and so far it has been easy to navigate. My question is, the subscription fee says it is $11.99 but I am being charged $1.02 extra. Does anyone know why? Is this tax? Which I find it weird being that all my other apps stick to the price they advertise.  I am curious to know why it isn't the amount advertise.

did you subscribe through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, or directly through Deezer?

Those entities apply a surcharge that would account for the difference.

    Could it be that you’ve taken out a Deezer subscription through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store? If so, this might explain why you’re paying more. Could you confirm whether this is the case?

    If it is, cancel the subscription via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. It will then end after the current month. Once it has ended, take out a new subscription through the Deezer website.

      Thank you! Yes, I did do it through Goople Play store. I appreciate the suggestion.  I will look into that. I didn't know they would do that. I haven't seen that with any other apps. I suppose it might already be included.
