Random playing of songs

That sounds frustrating, especially since you’re paying for Premium and expect smooth playback.

Since there’s limited information on your issue, I’ll assume the following:

• You’re on Android and running the latest OS version
• You’re using Deezer Stable (latest version)

When Deezer skips through songs or plays random tracks instead of the one you selected, it usually points to one of a few issues:

• Corrupted cache or app data: Old cached files can cause playback glitches. Go to your Phone Settings > Apps > Deezer > Storage and Cache > Clear Cache OR Clear Data.
  • Note: Clearing “Data” will require you to sign back in and re-download downloaded playlists.
• Offline mode conflicts: If tracks aren’t properly downloaded, Deezer may skip them. Toggle Download Off and On again on all downloaded playlists.
• Account/device sync issues: Sometimes Premium doesn’t register correctly across devices. Log out and back into Deezer app.
  • Note: You’ll have to re-download downloaded playlists.
• Connection problems: A weak or unstable internet connection can cause rapid skipping. Try a different network, mobile or other Wi-Fi connection. Also ensure you’re not running under a VPN or proxy.
• App bugs: Certain versions of the app have had playback issues. Ensure you’re running the latest version of Deezer.
• Device Issues: The issue might only be present in your current device. Try on a different device and establish if the issue is still present.
