Price increase

Hi guys, I received information about price increase to 11,99€ (300 CZK).

It means Deezer charges in my country almost twice more than green service (165 CZK). It’s even more than Netflix (259 CZK). If I pay one euro more, I’ll get whole Apple One.

Deezer charge me the same price as users from e.g. France or Germany, but for worse service. There’s no local music editor, no radio stations or local favorite podcasts. It’s little bit unfair.

Desktop app, main way how I consume your service is crappy with same issues for years (say hi minimalize to tray instead of close).

I’m OK with pay more if someone from the company justify this huge price gap.

    Hi @jirikovoego I understand that nobody likes a price increase and I hop you alsounderstand these decisions are above the community managers, but I am here to inform and pass your feedback regarding editors, radios and podcasts.
    Deezer has always been committed to better promoting the music created by artists. In line with this commitment, and in order to continue its ongoing investment in innovation intended to fully support artists and improve the fan experience, Deezer has decided to adjust its prices.

    Hi @Jaime. , thanks for your answer. How I said - I understand why the price has been increase. On the other hand, I don’t want to pay the same price for worse service. I’ll be glad if you pass my feedback and receive some statement.

    BTW: What about desktop app? It seems the decision about not developing any more has been changed. What about fix the close button behavior? It makes me mad for years 👀

    you are all full of understanding but this is not acceptable to double the price of an subscription i cancelled my subscription also

      Dude. You just increased my fee to 19,99EUR, and I live in Serbia. You cant charge the same amount to people with 400eur salary and to people with 2000eur salary. It doesnt make sense and I’m cancelling my subscription because it’s ridiculous. 10eur was okay for our Family package, but 20eur is HALF of what I pay for Internet, Television and Land Line ! Now do the math. 

      Just ridiculous.

      And I must add this, after 3 years being a premium / family subscriber, this move by Deezer is a disgrace. 


      This is how you repay our loyalty. 

       

      Goodbye forever. Serbia does not love you anymore, I’m 100% sure of it.
