premium but no hifi option

Hi all,

 

I have a premium subscription for almost two years. And recently hifi was added but I can not see this option on any device.

How can this be enabled?

Where do you come from?

In some countries, HiFi was initially activated for new subscriptions.

I did have the same question, so I did send a message to support and this was their answer and I recently started my annual subscription:

 

Hello there,

Thank you for your email,

The HIFI is not available in your subscription yet, I am afraid, so you would need to wait until your current subscription finishes so you can subscribe to the new Premium offer that includes HIFI quality,

I don't need Hifi really, but it would be nice if Deezer somehow offered the annual subscribers an option in case they want Hifi. I wouldn't mind paying that little extra. And if Deezer would offer something like this, I would probably take the offer. 

After all, the annual subscribers are loyal Deezer users. 

Now some of us have to wait 11 months.

I know, but I've started my annual subscription this February, just before Hifi was available in The Netherlands. 

And now I've have to wait 11 months and then I'll have Hifi as an option.

Like I said, I don't mind not having Hifi, but as an annual subscriber it would be nice to have to option to switch to Hifi, even if it would mean paying a little more.

When your subscription nears the end, my advice is to manually cancel the renewal and re-subscribe, this time to the new offer. There have been some reports that Deezer 'forgets' and charges the old amount upon the renewal. Better not to take any chances, especially if you're ready to wait for an entire year 😉

It’s a tricky one when it comes to annual subscription as you have already payed for a specific option for a selected time, 

so we don’t usually allow for changes to this kind of offer. 

You can try and ask our Support if they can stretch the rules a bit and change the subscription on their side. 

But I can’t promise you anything as the general rule is not to modify annual subscriptions.
