New price for family account?

Dear DEAZER!

today I received an e-mail, where it is written about a significant increase in the price of the family subscription. From the current price approx (10/11€ to  to 17.90)

And reason? Hifi audio? I don't need, I don't want.. Me and my whole family are satisfied with the current quality and price, with the new NO!


If that's really the case, I'm transferring somewhere where it's still normal => SPOTIFY.

Can deezer confirm for me that this will really be the case?
You will lose a lot of happy customers, what moronic manager came up with this?

Is this real? I do not need HIFI for family!
If  there is no option, I will cancel my Deezer susbcription that I have already almost 10years.

Hi, I can confirm that the e-mail you received is real and the new prices as well.
I understand that you’re frustrated about the price increases. First of all, I wanted to say thank you for supporting Deezer all these years. 

Some of our competitors are now providing HiFi quality sound to all of their users. We also got a new CEO who has brought a new vision and direction to the company. 

That’s why we have taken a decision to increase our prices. The reason that we’ve done it is simple - we want all of our users to have access to HiFi by default. We also want to be able to pay artists more and support the industry better. And we want to be able to continue to bring our listeners like you the music and podcasts they want, no matter if it’s your personal Flow or one of our many different channels, compilations or playlists..

We hope that you decide to stick around with us. We appreciate and value you, not only as a customer, but as a music listener and podcast fan.
If you decide to try something else for a while, we understand. In that case, we want to say thank you for supporting us.
We hope that you come back in the future and look forward to seeing you!

I still don't understand why I should pay for something I don't want and won't use (I can't either, I practically don't know the quality of HIFI in a car or on a phone anyway.).

I could understand a small increase, but not this one.

 

Respectful but at the same time fu**ing answer, but at least thanks for something.
