If I have a subscription in country A, can I use it in country B, if country B doesn't offer that type of subscription?
ex: Premium subscription from US used in Japan that only offers HiFi subscriptions.
I have homes in both countries, but don’t need HiFi, thus do not want to pay for HiFi if not necessary.
Currently, the app doesn’t let me use my US Free subscription in Japan, saying it is “not available in your country”. Will this happen with a Premium subscription, as well?

Hi @Garypen as long as you pay for your subscription in the US with a card from a US bank account, your subscription should work when you are visiting Japan.
Also all Premium and Family subscriptions in the US include HIFI quality by default now.
If you have any further questions please let us know :)

Is this new? Which countries are still on the old tiers with separate tiers for Premium and HiFi?

Then why does Deezer still offer separate Premium and HiFi plans in the US, with HiFi costing 50% more than Premium?

Hi @bluezzbastardzz @Garypen I am really sorry, I made a mistake and you are absolutely right. Nothing has changed in the US and we still have Premium, Family and HiFi offers for that market.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
