I like to add a handful of albums together in a queue, depending on how I feel, and then press shuffle. That’s how I listen to my local music collection on MediaMonkey, and other platforms for 20 years. I was struggling with how to form album queues and couldn’t see the feature on the mobile app, but it seems to have miraculously reappeared so fingers crossed it works. Because if it does, it’s great!

Hey, just to remind you that once again, I started putting my music in my party with my flow for parties, but then people wanted to add their music in the queue. Simple you might think, but no, apparently Deezer doesn’t want us to have this functionality.

So, once again, we ended up using the spotify account of someone else (with people questioning me on why having a music provider that does not have this simple feature).

I would love to advert Deezer to others, but honestly without this feature (which is a basic one to me), I cannot.

Hoping that you will add this feature once and for all (at this point, as a developer, I would be up to develop it myself ...)

Going to revive this. Switched to Deezer to ditch US based music streaming services and one of the most basic features, add to queue or play next, is purposely removed and marketed as a feature?

Is someone at Deezer not aware how simple this feature is to implement and restore or can a reason for it be omitted be provided.

I’ll see your complaint, and raise it to “NOT FOR NOW”, which basically means s*ck it, we don’t do queuing, random order or all that fancy stuff everybody wants and has at the competitors. And we’re not doing it since at least 2018: https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas/add-to-queue-and-play-next-available-via-chromecast-12152/index4.html

Love this!

I mean you gave me some great visibility as to how things go at Deezer. Still sticking with it to make sure my $ don't end up supporting US based business but WOW. Perhaps if I ask nicely en francais since Deezer is from La Belle Paris?

We are trialing a family account. Immediately, the kids started to complain - about the lack of simple song queueing and also about the lack of the number of plays shown for tracks. Today there was a big, organised rebellion against Deezer. They got together and decided that they are very against switching from Spotify. They were willing to swallow the song statistics thing, but cannot live with this lack of basic, simple queueing functionality. I looked into it hoping to find something to placate them - but it seems this has been a problem for some time (or at least some see it as a problem some as a mild inconvenience at best).

We intended to switch because we (the parents) couldn’t stomach the Spotify guy donating money for the orange one’s inauguration ceremony.

Music is a huge part of all our lives and we can’t go ahead with the change if the kids are going to moping about sighing.

Sorry Deezer but it looks like we will have to remain Spotify subscribers for the foreseeable future. I’ll check back every so often because we all like Deezer otherwise - better royalties for artists, the Frenchness and the quizzes are brilliant.

Be glad they complained before you moved all your stuff to Deezer! I wish I had noticed the lack of these basic functions sooner so we could have left earlier.

@Jaime.Deezer can you please pass on that users are leaving because of this?

Thanks for the feedback @jaredSTHLM I’ll definitely pass it onto our devs as @MrHaroldA suggested.
I can’t guarantee any immediate changes though.
Thanks for understanding and apologies for any inconvenience

Hi,

Great!

We've actually decided to stick with Deezer and quit Spotify nonetheless. There may be a few 'problems' with the interface but in the grand scope of things,  nothing that is insurmountable.

Please remain assuredly European and don't dilute your standards. Being French, I'm sure you won't of course.

Bon journée,

Jared
