Error MS1002

I have a fairly new account.. about a month old, and I recently got an error MS1002.  from what I understand, it has to do with fraudulant accounts. this is puzzling to me.  I do use a VPN on occasion, I pay a premium deezer account (I just ditched Spotify due to political reasons) .

I have contacted customer support about a week ago and and had little results… the only real communication was a request of a screenshot of the error…  then no response since then.  and I still cannot play any music (same error MS1002).   I have tried changing my password, deleting my cache (both the android app and the windows app)

This frustrates me because I have paid for my subscription and I just want to listen to music.  Has anyone else received the same error?  If so, have you gotten it resolved?

Hi @jaminshoulet I am sorry to hear that.
I’ve followed up with support and I can see that your case is being investigated and they will update you once it is solved.
Thanks again for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience

same here, and I am paying for it.

This is an error that happened to multiple users in the last years, and the Deezer team is aware of it and they keep charging us for a locked account. You can’t charge people for a service that they can’t use.

I understand @brunoettori but you need to contact our Deezer Support Team for this error and one of our agents will check your account and help with your request
Thanks
