Error message: Your Deezer account is currently in listening mode on another device

I keep getting a message that my account is in listening mode in another device.

Only its not

i dont have any other devices registered and when i try to reset my password it wont let me!!!

I’ve attached some screenshots of when i try to do that.

Please help

I'm having the same issue. I've reset my password. I've removed all other devices. But the message still appears. It started happening yesterday.

I would suggest the following steps :

Go to Deezer.com and click on your profile image in the top right corner . Choose account settings and go to connected devices . Unlink the devices from there . Next reset your password using the link below :

https://www.deezer.com/password/reset

Try using your account as usual and see if the problem has been solved .

Since this morning my dezzer stops every 2 minutes, it says that another device is using my account but thats imposible, is someone hacking my account?

Our Deezer Legend @Noam Asulin replied to you on another topic. But to helps things out, I've unlinked your devices and sent you a password reset email. Try changing your password and logging in with email and password directly.

@puddles As a first step I suggest to unlink all your devices (Or device as you wrote) . Also check if you are logged in on any other machine . laptop , desktop ,etc.

OK try this: -

Please do the following in the exact order:-
make sure you're connected to a wifi network
uninstall Deezer
clean your phone's cache
remove the SD card (if you have one)
turn off your phone
turn on your phone
Restart your phone - reset your Deezer password: - https://www.deezer.com/password/reset
reinstall Deezer
open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
reinsert the SD card (if you have one)

If it still happens contact support here with as much information as you can give them.

P.s. I'd change the way you log in so that it's via email (not facebook) - this can be done via the account settings page when you access it via a web browser (not the app).

Still.. disconnect all, reset your password and see if it helps.

I looked there.
there is only my device and my GF’s, which she is not using.
She was beside me when I was getting disconnected.

it sounds like your account is being used on another device.

Disconnect all devices (see here: - Manage Connected Devices: - https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115004531965-Managing-Connected-Devices- )

And then reset your password: - https://www.deezer.com/password/reset

Why am I getting a notification that my Deezer account is in Listening Mode on another device? When it’s Not!
And I’m getting these weird playlists in my Recent Tab, as if I have listened to those playlists??

For the last couple of days the message in The title pops up for me.

I have looked around the forums and followed every step explained in the other threads. its not working.

I know someone else is on my account since playlists pop up of music i dont listen to at all.
But no device but my own is linked.

Maybe a forced logout is possible on deezers end to solve this?

  • removed connected devices
  • reset my password
  • removed apps etc
but the issue persist... pls help!



I removed your google account as well. Please change your Google account and reinstall Deezer. Let me know if it helps!

Firstly have you read the links mentioned above?

Also would you try this in exact order:-

I have had exactly the same problem as above for the last few days.

I am the only one using the account and I only have one device linked.

I have also changed my password and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App but am still getting the same issue.

This is massively frustrating...and also embarrassing when you have guests. Apart from switching back to Spotify or Amazon music that have never given me these problems 😉 do you have any other suggestions? Thanks

got into your app and under manage devices disconnect / remove all devices.

then log out of your app.
uninstall the app from your phone

Reset your password using this link:- https://www.deezer.com/password/reset

RESTART your phone (important)
re-install the app
log in using your new password
