different subscription rates

I am in Abu Dhabi and was offered to resubscribe to Deezer with an offer of AED 32 / month for the family package. When I continued to process at this rate, the price jumped to £17.99 / month ... this is an equivalent to nearly AED 80 / month.

Why is this ?

If you offer a price - you must follow through with it.

Not going to subscribe until I get resolution of the pricing. Pricing is a big aspect of my streaming platform choice and with Spotify offering 3 months free ... I am interested to see how Deezer respond to this post.

Hello there @Iain.Morrison

Most of us here are users such as yourself, and not deezer employees. I will offer what I know.

In many countries, deezer has switched the subscriptions from the respective national currency to a standard of US dollars. Other changes have also been made; deezer Hi-Fi no longer exists, as Hi-Fi is now included as part of the Premium subscriptions. So subscription prices have changed to reflect that higher level of service.

Regardless of this, and in light of you having had an offer, you should contact support to see if they can accommodate you in any way.

Support is here https://support.deezer.com/hc/requests/new

Best of luck and I hope it works out for you to remain with deezer.

Cheers,

G

Thanks G.

I accessed Deezer through my laptop and the offer was processed that way. No link to Google Play on my Android Phone.

All good in the world again.
