When will Deezer release an App for Apple TV? We’ve been asking for years but there’s no straight answer. Please be honest or should we just migrate to Apple Music for a more seamless experience?

Hi I cant seem to find a Deezer app for apple tv 4k? When will this be available?

Editing playslists etc could be features reserved for the full app on desktop/PAD/phone. I’m thinking just a simple (with HiFi sound) playlist player. This should be doable to create in an evening or two 🙂👍🏻



Got my stereo connected to my Apple—TV, would be nice to not have to switch to my computer everytime I want to listen to some music.

Streaming/casting from another device isn’t a good option because I want hifi sound (not sound compressed by Bluetooth algorithm) .

To be honestly, I don't think it will happen any time soon as Apple has their own apps... 🙂 Feel free to join our Got an Idea topic and bring some more suggestions, our developers are watching us 😉

Hi there 🙂 Unfortunately there are no short term plans. But this is not our decision alone. We also need Apple's approval of this. So this is not a "Never", but I can't give you any details as of now I'm afraid.

Hi there, I can't tell you what the exact reasons are as this is dependent on different factors. But as mentioned, that doesn't mean that there won't be an app in the future, I just don't have any details about an approximate ETA 🙂

Nothing has changed. I like Deezer but I will switch back to Apple Music, because I want music application on my Apple TV. I hope to come back in the future..

Deezer is in every other platforms include IOS Iphone/Ipad but not in Apple TV.

This is even more important now you have introduced Deezer HiFi. I have no way to play HiFi audio on my stereo because you don’t yet support High Fidelity in iOS and I don’t have a ChromeCast (my only options are Apple TV, AirPlay to Apple TV, or AirPlay to Apple TV, and AirPlay to Yamaha received which doesn’t have Deezer)

I just switched from Tidal. If I can’t get HiFi in a reasonable way I’ll probably switch back to Tidal and leave Deezer unfortunately.

Thank you for your honesty. Don't worry, we're working on that too - be able to stream HiFi to other devices, including AirPlay. I hope to have more news from our teams before the end of this year 👍🏼

Just recently searching through the apps on Apple TV, I now see Spotify and Amazon Music both have apps for Apple TV so why not Deezer? The only way I can stream is either Airplay from my iPad or from the app on my Onkyo Receiver, which is horrible to use so I won’t use it.

So please Deezer the other main music subscriptions have an app for Apple TV, I pay for an Hi FI Subscription and hopefully I won’t have to cancel and sign up with another.

I am also waiting for the Deezer App for Apple TV. When will it happen?

Unfortunately, there are currently no developer capacities available for an app for Apple TV.

My assessment: Not so soon. :rolling_eyes:
