Change country without cancelling a current subscription

Hello,

I have about 9 months left of my year-payed Premium acccount. For some time I have been living in another country. Is it possible to change countries without having to cancel my current subscription?
Is it strictly obligatory to provide a new payment method of my new country when changing countries?

Many thanks in advance for help

Hey @Natasha Panina

Changing the country is possible via support:

The payment method will probably also be adapted to the new country. You can get more details/information from support.

Hi @dee_dirk, thank you for your reply.

I know that one has to change country via support. But I do not yet have a bank account/credit card in the new country I am in, and I also do not want to loose 9 months of already payed Premium.

So I am wondering if it is possible to change the country KEEPING my current year-long subscription, without providing new payment method.

@Natasha Panina

I'm guessing you won't lose your current subscription. However, when it comes to the next payment, you will have difficulties. Example: You cannot have a Peru account and want to pay with a Spanish bank card.
You will get more details from support. You can only ask general questions at first, without your account being changed.

Thank you a lot for your reply!  I will contact the support for more details.

Also, do you know, if I don’t renew my subscription, when the current one comes to an end, I won’t completely loose the account?  I saw that starting April for the majority of the countries Deezer Free is no longer available.

What I mean to say is: it is fine for me that I won’t be able to listen to the music. The important thing is that my account stays there sort of “frozen”, with all my playlists, favourites etc, until I come back and start paying for Premium again. Is it like this?

@Natasha Panina

Your account consists of two areas.
No. 1: Your master data, playlists, favorites.
No. 2: Free or paid subscriptions

If there is no longer any Deezer Free in your country, your account will still exist. If you log in, you will only be directed to the offer page and could then book Premium.

@dee_dirk

Perfect! Thanks a lot!
