Unfair subscription costs of loyal customers versus internet price plans.

I am disappointed that Deezer increases my subscription yet offer the same plan £3 a month cheaper in the internet. This is not how to treat loyal and longterm customer. There no real means to contact or have a discussion with anyone from Deezer. We have now cancelled our plan due to this unfair and disrespectful behaviour towards loyal customer.

Hi @Kirku I can see that you are subscribed to Deezer via Apple. The price you pay comprises our subscription price, local taxes and Apple’s commission (20% VAT). As a result, the subscription price for users via the App Store is slightly higher than via Deezer directly.

If you want to subscribe through Deezer directly, cancel your subscription on your iPhone or iPad:

  • Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store
  • Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen
  • Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
  • Tap Subscriptions > Deezer
  • Tap Cancel Subscription

Don't worry! It won't affect your music content.

When your Deezer account switches to Deezer Free at the end of the current paid period, subscribe to Deezer again on the web browser of a PC/Mac: www.deezer.com/offers.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience

Thank you to everyone who has provided guidance and instructions on what to do. I appreciate the comments.

I have cancelled via Apple-itunes and await the cancellation period to end.

Thanks, again,

Kirk.
