Audio quality on Samsung TV (Tizen) Deezer App + some issues

Hello,

Does the Deezer App for Samsung TVs / Tizen support “Better 320kb/s” audio quality or does it only support “Standard 128kb/s”? Of course this is assuming I’m having a Premium (or higher) subscription tier.

Is there some way to select the audio quality setting in the app? Unlike the browser, desktop and Android apps, in the Samsung TV App I cannot find any option to set the stream quality.

Unrelated to the above, I noticed an issue with the Tizen app where, if I skip a lot of songs on the Flow, it gets stuck with the error “A problem was detected with this stream” for any new song I try to play. The issue goes away if I exit the app and wait for an hour or so.

Thanks!

Hello @dominikz

sorry for the late reply!

Unfortunately there is no option to change the audio setting on the samsung TV app.

The quality is FLAC but there is no label!

Thanks @Yula !

This is good news! Previously shared information (in this topic) was that HiFi / FLAC audio quality tier is not supported in the Samsung TV (Tizen) Deezer app.

Also, the “Samsung TV” on the list of supported devices is not marked with the “HiFi” support label - will this be updated to avoid confusion?

Thanks again!
