You've asked for this feature and since then, the wait has been a long journey. Our community pet peeve for a while, starts to get shape in our platform… 

Welcome to our remote control feature! 

It's a great privilege for me to announce our initial test launch, for iOS users who are on the beta version of the app 

You can now use your iPhone (or iPad) to control our desktop app, the Deezer web app, another iPhone or iPad.

 

How to access the remote control feature? 

You'll need to have the beta version of the Deezer app on iOS: 

• Open app > Settings > Deezer Labs
• Activate Remote Control 
• Choose your track and click on the “Audio output” icon 
• Select the device you want to control

 

 

Thanks for adding the feature. Straight away I notice that if any sound plays on the android phone, the playback pauses. This is not desirable. I want the playback to be uninterrupted just like Chromecast playback. I should not have to worry about playback stopping if an ad plays or the phone rings.

I want to control my deezer on my browser pc from my iPhone, but Deezer app on iPhone doens’t show any device and it’s impossible from me control deezer on my browser pc from iPhone.

Hey @uccidibuti I’ve tested on my side with an iPhone and it worked.
Could you let me know the steps you are following or share a video in order to help?

Is there an ETA on Deezer connect for 3rd party streamers like Bluesound. Spotify has an upcoming hifiplan with flawless audio. I'd suggest you beat them with deezer connect before that otherwise i think lots of deezer audiophiles will switch because spotify connect does work awesome and if you want to use flow and Daily etc you have to use the native deezer (or spotify app) Maybe an extended Api for use with the Flow settings and daily discovery's that would make the need for deezer connect a bit less.
