  • Remote mode (control your Deezer phone app from your wrist) has been improved too: Flow, Recently played, user playlists, podcasts, are all accessible in 2 taps
  • New player interface, cover display, improved volume control and much more!

Check it out by downloading our latest iOS app 8.39 now :robot:

Compatible from Apple Watch Series 3, running on watchOS 6 minimum.

Don't forget to show off!

Ive seen the new Apple Watch App and i think its a big upgrade. But in my understanding it STILL doesnt support Cellular Streaming, am i right? Is Deezer working on this or will they leave this demographic to Spotify and Apple Music?

Check it out by downloading our latest iOS app 8.38 now :robot:

→ 8.39 is latest iOS app

Offline-Watch-App cannot be used with 8.38

Perhaps I’ve missed it, but is there a way to add a track to my own playlists via the Apple Watch app (latest version)?

@RysterUK

Short version: no
Long version: Individual tracks cannot be added within the Apple Watch. You still have to do this as before, for example web version, desktop app or smartphone app. Then you can easily start the sync on Apple Watch.

Hi,

The app crashes on the Apple Watch Serie 3 when pushing the download button.

We need to take bigger steps for that @HustleHans but thank you for your feedback, that's why I've announced it here :relaxed:

Hey @dee_dirk you had to burst my bubble isn't it? And I have the app on my Watch myself! What a shame!

Fixed.

Will report that further @Mirokrijo have you tried reinstalling it and restarting devices?

Hi @Mirokrijo, are there any uploaded mp3-files in the lists? That could be a reason why the app crashes when pushing download button..

Hi @dee_dirk dee_dirk,

thank you for your reply. There were some uploaded mp3's in the list. I deleted them, but still the app crashes.

Does this mean you are working on cellular streaming atm or not?

I’ve the same problem, app crashes on apple watch series 3 when you hit the download button 😡

Well, series 3 is too old in terms of hardware and speed. Wait for a Deezer update

thanks for your ‘useful’ advice but i think you’ll find series 3 is stated as being supported..

I have the same issue with my Series 3 Nike - when I hit the ‘download’ button in offline mode, the app shuts down and it goes back to the app grid.

Rudi - is this a known issue for Series 3 users and will a fix be provided soon ?

Yes, @Williad2
We've got other users being affected by the same problem and we've got a ticket open with our devs for fixing. All I can kindly ask now is for your patience! @Steve D71

Make sure to keep your Deezer iOS app updated - I'll keep you posted :pray_tone2:

This is a small request compared to the folks above having a working app, but it’d be wonderful if there was an option to add a track straight to a playlist (even if this was limited to a few user created playlists).

I’m finding the app a pleasure to use, the only thing I do notice is the volume control can be a bit, hmm, laggy in comparison to other music apps (when I use the crown to alter the volume). I’m using the the latest available app, 8.39.0, an Apple Watch 6 and iPhone 11.

Will i get an answer?

Oh no, we aren't working on that right now @HustleHans apologies, for some reason I thought I had answered you.

However, because we've just launched this update, our devs have been hungry for feedback, so I've passed your suggestion together with @RysterUK's one for future development

Hi,

The app crashes on the Apple Watch Serie 3 when pushing the download button.

yeah same problem here under Apple Watch Series 3. Anyone found a solution yet? Or wait for next update?

You can still buy Apple Watch series 3 on apple website! it shouldn't be too old ….

I am amazed that no one has asked what quality the downloads are.

The answer is: SQ.

Hey @Bausch94

Thanks for mentioning. It isn't about the device's age, but how it works.

I've checked the report and would like to invite you to download version 8.40 to see if you notice an improvement :thumbsup_tone2:

Thanks for the heads up @dee_dirk, I'm sure it was a matter of time!

On Apple Watch 6 I have a problem that only one air pod is working (mostly right)

Hi @Roman Selin , Have you tried resetting and reconnecting your AirPods Resetting AirPods? When I've had similar issues in the past, that usually helps, it may be worth a try.

Let us know on here if you’ve still got issues please and have a good weekend.

Hi, I have to say the watch app update is a much better experience than before, actually worth using now. I have tried to download a number of playlists and sometimes nothing happens at all, no message, no download, nothing. Could this be that the playlist would use to much storage space on the watch? If that’s the case, no problem but some form of feedback on the device would be helpful.

Also cellular streaming would be a great idea, I currently don’t have a cellular plan for my watch but that could be changed, this would mean I could actually go out without my phone.

Wonderful feedback as always @gmcoates our teams will appreciate it!

Top tips @RysterUK hopefully @Roman Selin will get them working
