Multiplayer Music Quizzes

From today you are be able to play music quizzes with their friends simultaneously!!

Whether you are in the same room or in different countries. 🎮

 

Challenge your friends and test your music knowledge🤓 we have dozens genres, decades and artists to choose from...

From Soundracks to Beyoncé and through K-pop!

What are the rules? 

  • You have 30 seconds to guess each song,  but you’ll have to be quick to prove your musical wizardry... Who will be crowned the music expert of the group? 👑
  • Only paid users can start a multiplayer mode, but all free and paid users can join a room.
  • Available on mobile & web desktop!

How do you play? 

 

1- Choose any theme! 

A screen will open with two options

2- Solo player or Multiplayer

3- Choose multiplayer and invite a friend 

 

The game is simple:

You have 30 seconds to guess the name of a song that is playing. The faster you answer, the more points you get. If you answer in the first 3 seconds, you will get 100 points per song. After 3 seconds, the score will gradually decrease from 100 points!

 You will have 10 questions to answer per quiz, which are based on music genres or themes: popular hits, 80s and so on!

      @ArtemUa sorry for the spam! I am having your case looked into now, it seems from the screenshot that you were on airplain mode when playing… is that the case? 

       

      Don't worry, I'm always happy to help. As for the question,  airplane mode was really turned on

      I want to ask if in the future it will be possible to run quizzes based on an artist's album?

      Does not work. 

      Deezer followers are not shown as friends. Sending a link results in the message "quiz was already started" when the receiver clicks on the link.

      Could you tell me from which device you were playing please @BattleMage? 

       

      We tried with 3 different Android devices, all having the latest version of Deezer installed. Android versions used were Android 11 and 12. We tried sending the copied link via Messenger and via SMS, as SMS was the only option provided by Deezer for directly sharing the link without the need to copy it to clipboard first.

      I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “save the link”. Should I save the HTML of the linked site locally and share that? We tried sharing the link copied to the clipboard using the “copy link” button provided by Deezer. We also tried using the “Send by SMS” feature as well as the “more options” method to share the link. The receiver always got the message “Session not valid or the host already started the game” when clicking the link. Meanwhile the host stayed on the same page where they shared the link from.

      Hey @BattleMage I meant when saving it on the clipboard. 

      Are you still encountering this issue? It should not be happening anymore.

      Quiz do not work with friends who do not have deezer

      Hi @Kim Schwartz did your friends (who are not on Deezer) get any error message after you shared them the QR code to join your multiplayer session?

      After scanning my Multiplayer invite QR-code, my friend’s device opens with the Deezer UI all in French.  
      Her keyboard and iOS are English. 
      How to change the language (other than using a browser that translates the page).
