MIX Inspired by

 

One of the best ways to get to know new artists, new beats and new trends in music that agree with our tastes is to be inspired by the artists we've already heard.

Which is why we are relaunching MIX INSPIRED BY… (ex Track Mix)



How does it work?
1- Open your Music ♫ tab, under Mixes inspired by, select a song. 

The songs are taken from your Favorite tracks and the tracks you've been streaming recently. 

Tip🚨: The songs list will refresh regularly.


2- Search for a song Select the song from the Tracks (or Top Result) section of the
results page. At this point the mix will be started and similar songs to the chosen track
will follow


Tip💡: If you still want the confort of listening to more of the songs you know, Flow might still be the better option for you.


Take the opportunity to explore a new world of music based on your personal taste.
Explore our mixes and share with us a new tune that you discovered thanks to it.

        It seems like this was reprogrammed. The "launch track mix" seems to have the same programming, because it is effected too.. This used to be a great feature I really liked. Consistently it came up with a mix of good music that all mostly fit the era, vibe, feeling, genre or sub genre of the song the mix is starting from.

        Now if is suggesting crap that doesn't even match the song the mix is supposed to be inspired by. Temptation by New Order is giving me Aphrodisiac by Bow Bow Bow now, which is unlistenable, and also why? Temptation used to bring up a lot of great 80's alternative, now it's giving me all the cheesy garage that is giving the 80's a bad reputation for music. This is one example, I listen to a lot if different types of music and the problem is bad everywhere. The mixes are full of trash 

        Can you change the programming back? Can i roll back this version and get the old programming back?

          I find the mixes inspired by only shows about ~20 tracks, and they are a very narrow window into the hundreds of tracks, albums, and artists I’ve favourited. I’ve tried the labourious process of trying to manually adjust the recommendations, but it has all the liked and listened tracks already, it just doesn’t choose them. I can refresh the banner about 3 times before I see all repeats in the banner. I have hundreds of tracks from very diverse genres and time-periods and yet I always get the same few tracks. Really feels useless. The top banner of the (android app) has recent artists, the mixes inspired by should have everything, and when I look at the recommendations I see that it acknowledges all the liked tracks, it just doesn’t choose them. Broken or bug?
