Very nice, but unfortunately, even after 2 updates, there is not such a button! Just received an email from Deezer telling t same story, again NO SUCH BUTTON. 😔

Same here, I don’t see the new feature in my iOS app, even after updating. Has it been widely rolled out?

Omg YES !Ā

Great idea! will stop me shouting @ Alexa when it won't stop playing songs I'm not into.

I think the dislike button is only on the track page when using flow?

If this works out, maybe think about being able to rate tracks out of 5 stars, whatever.

šŸ‹hate it,

🄦not right now,

šŸnotĀ sure / maybe,

šŸ’love it,

šŸ„mind blowing.

I read earlier that this update was coming and now it's here. Yes, keep control over the songs you liked or didn't like.

Loving the update! Finally feels like I have real control over what I hear. The new ban button and rec settings are super useful

Great quality of life update overall.

Too buggy.. especially when trying to add a song to a playlist after this update. When I tap the three dots on the top-right corner of the player, the menu takes a few seconds to appear, as if it’s hanging.

Hey @Mr. Jahrami @DellenbuschĀ šŸ‘‹Ā

Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed in your Android/iOS, please 😁

This feature/updateĀ should be already live for everybody!Ā šŸ˜Ž

I personally love it as I have more control over my music now!Ā šŸ˜‰

Is it supposed to work in the desktop app and web player, too, and it only works with the latest mobile apps, right?

I haven't seen a dislike button, but I assume it's only available forĀ Flow? It would be nice to extend it to all play options. When using shuffle play, there are one or two albums that I really like but they include tracks that I really don't like (Prince was an example. Much as I love him, I found nearly all his albums had one really bad track). For playlists I can see that it shouldn't be an issue, at least for playlists I've compiled, after all, I chose the tracks, but the same can't be said of playlists compiled by you or your algorithms (e.g. the playlist for a particularĀ genre,Ā the playlists for particular artists (the 100% playlists) and most of all on playlists like the new releases ones (the ones I think most likely created by algorithms rather than curated. No two people's tastes are exactly alike, so curated playlists are just as likely to have tracks you don't like). It would be really cool if you could add it to any trackĀ currently playing, not just to Flow. As a former Software Engineer, I would have thought that that would be relatively simple to do? (although, of course it depends on how your choice is structured and may not be. But I imagine that it's just a matter of adding the button whenever a track is playing and calling the relevant routine that shouldn't need editing, it would be doing exactly the same thing).

Thank you

I’m on 10.36.2 on iOS and iPadOS. Nothing about what is being shown/discussed here. Ā I refreshed the app list on both devices and they are on 18.4.1.

Can you show EXACTLY the steps to find this? Ā Start with Home screen, circle the objects to press….

I use Deezer half as much as I could b/c I don’t like what Flow pics at all and none of the pre-configured moods/options work for me.

First of all, I’d like to say that I really enjoy the new features you’ve introduced—thank you for the continued improvements!

I wanted to suggest a small enhancement regarding how the algorithm interprets our listening habits. Currently, when we "like" a song, it contributes to shaping our personal music recommendations, which is great. However, sometimes I come across a song that I enjoy but would prefer to add it to a specific playlist (for example, a Rock playlist) rather than to my general "Liked Tracks" list.

In such cases, if I don’t "like" the song, it seems that the algorithm may not consider it as a preference, even though I clearly enjoyed it enough to save it in a themed playlist.

My suggestion is this:
If a user adds a song to one of their playlists—especially frequently played, genre-specific ones—that action could also be used as a signal to help personalize recommendations, even if the song wasn’t explicitly "liked." This would allow the algorithm to better understand our preferences in a more nuanced way.

I believe implementing this idea could significantly enhance the listening experience for many users.

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Update to find "dilike" (broken hart) button.

You'll find itĀ next to the "Like" (hart) button in the track page, when using Flow or Track mix but not Album or Playlist.

Can developers @ deezer pls. clarify.

Really coolĀ šŸ˜Ž
Ā

I just want to point that ALGO Customisation refers to FLOW , Flow moods and Flow genres .
It does not apply to Albums or Playlists .

Ā

For me it is available on Deezer Desktop web and on Android but it is not available on the Deezer Desktop app.

Hi @Alfredo.DeezerĀ Ā

Deezer desktop web and Deezer desktop app are displaying differently for me.

I don't know if it's appears to me,Ā or if someone else is seeing the same thing ?

Great in principle but can you PLEASE make sure the algorithm will send notifications of liked artist releases as its not doing that currently.

Don’t you have a liked and disliked option in your Deezer update?Ā

-Go to settings and to music (muziek):

Ā

-There it is:

Ā

suggestion to build on this - be able to pre-emptively mark a playlist as one to not suggest / make recommendations form. I.e. sometimes I’ll pop on a lyricless playlist like calm cello, but just for reading - I never want recommendationsĀ from this, nor flow based off of it, it’s a narrow set of circumstances I’d want that kind of music and I’d love an easy way to tell Deezer to stop suggesting chill cello to me when I want dark pop bops.

I have a Deezer Family subscription. To my surprise, when I get my favorite songs, it apparently shows the data of all my family, not just mine.

Now when I logged to ā€œexcluded songsā€, it is also from all the users which does not make sense at all. While I probably could live with recommendations for other family members (although somewhat annoying), excluding songs for other people or getting excluded songs by other members is unacceptable. So please, do something about it.

Ā

I have a suggestion @Alfredo.DeezerĀ Ā

Can we have an option for a Blend mode on FLOW ? We can then choose to listen to a few genres at ones and let FLOW surprising us . Please raise it to the team if you can . That would make FLOW even betterĀ

ThxĀ
