The deezer app for xbox needs an upgrade. I haven't been able to use the app on my xbox for days as it wont play sound anymore. The app has had other issues that I brought to the attention of the twitter page but its been acting up worse since.

 

First the song displayed and the song playing often gets unsynced while playing. It will display one song but be playing something completely different. This causes longer songs to get cut off before they are actually over and shorter songs to just be silent for the remainder of the time.  It also frustrates me that i cant listen to podcasts on my xbox app, I dont just use my xbox for gaming, it is my entertainment system. 

 

Very recently, in the last week, the app refuses to play sound. I will go to a playlist and hit play but nothing comes out. Its not my xbox or my sound system as other apps work just fine. I truly enjoy this app and would like to continue enjoying it but I pay specifically so I can use it on my xbox and that is impossible right now.

Where are you located? Do you have an active Deezer subscription? 

Can you try these steps? 

Turne on, off, reboot , signed out and in, uninstall and reinstall app.

I've done those before coming to this site to ask for help. I have tried everything on my end that I can think of. Also I'm located in Wyoming Usa. My phone works fine, but my xbox refuses to play the song sound. If I pause and play it I get to hear a millisecond of song.

Are there any updates pending on your xbox @Lynn Nox? 

The app is available in the US, so that should not be the issue. 

also can your check if your wifi/network connection is working fine?
