Windows 10 Desktop 4.3.4 - Spacebar No Longer Toggles Play/Pause

There was a time when the spacebar toggled play/pause. There doesn't seem to be a way to set your keyboard shortcuts in any preferences/settings. This should be an easy fix if this has not been implemented or was broken in one of the newer versions.

Hi there @JustinL

Can you reinstall the app? It should work as we have this enabled.

I'm on V5.30.560 / W11 and this bug is annoying. Please, fix it!

Hi @burninghead, The situation you described regarding the space bar is not a bug, it's a limitation. We are revamping the Deezer desktop experience and hope this limitation will be overcome.

I'm also experiencing this problem, I guess the problem applies to all Windows 10/11 users. Very curious if this ever gets resolved since it's been 5 years now.

@Tsinabis what exactly is not working for you?
I was able to pause play on web and desktop app, while using the app of course.
Do you wants to pause/play while Deezer’s running in the background?
Thanks

I was talking about alt tabbing to the desktop app and not being able to play/pause with the spacebar immediately and needing to click in the window for it to work. But it works just fine on the browser version
