I have a 2017 LG tv (UJ6200), with all the latest updates downloaded. When I go to the Content Store and search for "Deezer", no apps are available. What is going on?

I'm running into a brick wall: I can't get Deezer through my Roku, my tv and Chromecast connectivity is glitchy at best.

@Dustin Blythe

There is a new Deezer app for Samsung TVs. It works on 2017 Samsung models and newer. May be not all 2017 models are supporting it.
And the old Deezer app for Samsung isn‘t supported any longer, so this could be the reason why it’s no longer available.
Lets hope chromecast is working well again soon.
For me it works fine with AirPlay and AppleTV or with Deezer and Sonos Playbar connected to TV.

The new Deezer app for LG TV is not available for 2017 models . I think it’s available for 2020/21/22 only.

Deezer is not available on Roku anymore .

uuups, sorry… thanks @Noam Asulin

was late last night. 🙈

Had „Samsung“ in my mind instead of LG. What i wrote only rules for Samsung.
But @Dustin Blythe has got a LG…

Imho the reason is the same… As @Noam Asulin said 2017 TV model is not supporting new Deezer LG app and old app isn‘t supported by Deezer and available on LGs app store any longer.

Thank you for the replies. My solution now is playing Deezer on my phone app and using Chromecast to mirror my screen on to my tv to hear it through my system when I'm home.

Add my voice to the chorus calling for a Chromecast fix!

@Dustin Blythe

I suggest not to use mirroring function, because as far as i know it only supports limited audio quality compared to directly casting Flac and also mirroring needs much more device and network performance.
Buying an original Google Chromecast basic device imo would be a low cost and high quality option to cast Deezer HiFi Flac audio directly to your TV.
For me it works without any problem.

That's what I have, a Chromecast device plugged into an HDMI port of my tv. I rebooted it as part of my attempt to kickstart the Deezer cast.

Are you running in problems when casting directly to chromecast device?

What kind of device and deezer app version are you using to initiate casting?

I tested casting HiFi without problems on google chromecast V2 using Deezer iOS app, webversion with chrome browser on PC and Android App to start and control the cast.

Deezer app version 7.0.6.16 on Android (OnePlus 6T), casting directly to Chromecast HDMI plug in device.

When attempting to cast, the Chromecast screen switches from the screensaver to a black screen. The Deezer app displays a message saying "Connecting, just a few moments" then it stops attempting and the Chromecast screen saver returns.

@Dustin Blythe

Deezer app v 7.0.6 imho is beta status. Have you installed from APK or by signing up for beta and installing from google play store?

I suggest trying the latest stable version 7.05.56.

 I'll try going back to the previous version but I had this issue previous to signing up for beta.

Update: Returned to 7.05.56. Still have same issue connecting with Chromecast

This is very strange… 🤔

What kind of chromecast do you have exactly? For me it‘s a v2, but as far as i know all google devices should have no problem EXEPT the old v1 chromecast stick. If you use this one, that would be the reason.
The only difference beside this is the app version for Android i use. I‘m on 7.0.3.43 because latest update is bugy on Android 6. If your chromecast is not v1 you could try this app version by APK install.

Figures: Mine is a V1.

Ok, after all we got it… 😉

Try to get a cheap used v2 chromecast with much better performance and enjoy casting. 😎

Searching for one now!
