Hello,

When downloading favourite play lists to my galaxy watch 4 the Download hangs on the last song for each play list and the downloads not completed . I see that others have had this issue but has anybody found a work around? The latest app updates means downloads are way faster but usless unless the Download can finish!

Thanks,

Craig

Hello there @craigus195

How many songs are in your favourite playlist?

To speed up your download, we recommend that you choose playlists that do not exceed 100 songs

also… We recommend that you turn off your phone's Bluetooth when downloading or playing content to improve the performance of your watch

Hi @Yula,

They are fewer than 100 (between 35 and 80) and I do turn off Bluetooth and rely on wifi. The speed of the download is not the issue, it's the fact that the last song never downloads.

this is very weird, @craigus195, do you mind deleting that last song from the playlist and see if it downloads completely?

Just to see if the issue is linked to the song or not...

I have this EXACT issue.  I just bought a pixel watch and the download hangs at the second to last song.  I am literally at wit’s end with it!  Whether or not bluetooth is on is irrelevant.  It just simply wont download.  I even tried deleting the last couple of songs and now it just hangs at 2 prior to the new maximum number of songs on my playlist.  Does anyone have any meaningful advice on how to address this?

@Yula I did the exact advice you gave and the problem persists for me as well.

Hello @CabooseCC

can you please try with a smaller playlist first and see if the issue persists?

Can you send me screenshot of what you see?

Ok @craigus195 @CabooseCC developpers were able to understand that some tracks are unreadable for the WearOS device, so yes, the problem is linked to a track.

If you identify the track where the download stops, please just remove it from the playlist and you will be able to download until they find a fix for this problem!

@Yula

I really am not sure how I would identify which songs are the problem because I don't get any error message to go off of.  I would literally have to meticulously go through my list and eliminate them systematically.  I guess I'll just wait for the update.

Sorry about that @CabooseCC, if it’s linked to the unreadable tracks it should be soon.

You could actually try again now with a playlist and let us know if it works please...
