Synchronized Queue List Between Device and Browser

Hello,

I primarily use either the Deezer player in a browser on my computer (Mac OS / Firefox Browser) or on my iPhone via the app (iPhone 13 Mini / iOS 16.0.2). However, I’ve noticed that the song currently playing or management of the queue is not synced between the two devices. If I play music on my phone, I cannot see what is playing when I look on my computer, and I cannot control the queue or music played from my computer either. The same is true for the other way around.

I’ve gone into the settings for both the computer browser and the iPhone app to make sure that the ‘Synchronized Queue-list’ feature is enabled, and it is for both. I’ve restarted both devices with no luck.

One thing that I have noticed is when I look at the list of “Linked Devices” that it is only the iPhone that is there. A computer or browser is not listed here. Is the computer or browser supposed to be shown as a linked device, and is that perhaps why there is no synchronization between the two?

Thanks!

You probably confuse synchronising your play queue in the audio quality settings with the Labs feature of controlling your desktop app with your iPhone. The former will enable starting with the last played song in your queue if you stop it on one device and continue on another device. The latter will directly switch your playback from one device to the other, but currently only in one direction, and only from your iPhone to desktop (Mac or Windows). It is not available on Android phones or desktop apps yet.
