At this very moment, we're unable to shuffle while casting via Chromecast. You'll have to set up a specific order before casting so that the player can follow it.

But don't worry, we're planning to develop shuffle to Chromecast at some point in the near future. In the meantime, Happy New Year!

When is this feature coming. I really like Deezer but this seems to be a very basic feature?!

We're also waiting for an update on this @Jensemand once I've got more info, I'll be letting you know.

Can we please get an ETA on this? Seems like a point where Spotify outperforms Deezer.

I know this topic is really old, but a workaround is to use the third party app https://stevenaleong.com/tools/deezerplaylistrandomizer to shuffle the playlist.

The real solution is this:

It's 3 years later. Is there any updates. I like Deezer a lot but this is the one thing that keeps me going to other services. 

Same here. Deezer is quite good for personal use, but as soon as you have guests you need to use something else.

“Stream across all your devices” is something the marketing department uses, but that is a blatant lie. “Stream across all your devices with crippled features” would be a better slogan.

Sheer incompetence, or they just don’t care.
