Samsung Multiroom App Feedback: login and other issues

Hi there, I am having issues with not being able to log in on the samsung multiroom app. Keeps saying the id or password is incorrect. Ive changed both password & email address several times with no luck. Ive turned the samsung multi room speaker off after each try to reset it but still no luck. Help!!

Hey @Marco O

Have you tried rebooting your router for about 3 mins to see if it helps? Also, try resetting your password before doing that. And let me know how it goes 😉

Please all take to Samsung and deezer on twitter and facebook.

Samsung tried to blame corvid 19! 

Let's keep them focused on this problem.

I finally get a reply in my topic from Rudi saying that there is an update about this issue in this thread but i cant see any fixes or updates by Deezer in this thread

Also tried the same reinstalling but still no succes.

Looks like this is not going to get fixed and Samsung support for Deezer in their Multiroom app will not work again. It's a shame because Deezer usually has had good support on different platforms. I'm also on a free Spotify trial now as a result of this debacle ... no issues so far.

Do you have any special characters in your password?
Check this topic for some more help in the meantime. Currently we haven't had any reports with the same problem.

This thread is on going on here, no one seems to be doi g much about it! Can only suggest rather than change your Samsung device, which would be expensive! 

Cheaper option is to change music supply, best option for Samsung support would be Spotify. 

Sad but true..... 

I have the same problem since this month with samsung multiroom speakers. Since 2018 i had no problem at all. Now since this month deezer connection says on one speaker 'no connection to internet' and other speaker has problem 'id or password incorrect'. It looks like a change had been put through by deezer. My samsung speaker release is 3117. 1/r134 and my app version is 4143.

I’ve just seen that I’m not the only one, which is something, I suppose. Thanks.

I've checked for any update and there aren't any. So the version I mentioned is the latest.

I've just checked and the team is still working on it - since Jan. We'll keep everyone here informed. Because it involves a partner's app, it generally takes a bit longer.

And who of you still believes after several months of no progress, that this issue is ever getting fixed?

It's likely to be on our side @Arhu but it's early to tell, our teams are looking into this, please hang in there!

Yet again Deezer and Samsung multiroom are not talking to each other. Playback fails and when you attempt to reset it claims password/username incorrect then reverts to the previously signed in account.

 

Can Samsung and Deezer start communicating to ensure these issues don't occur annually? Spotify does not have the same issues...

I can't login to deezer via Samsung multiroom. It keeps advising the ID or password is wrong.
