Using the web player and typing in a search term and seeing the dropdown list of helpful choices. 
Given I want to select any option other than the first one in the list. 
When I press down on the keyboard to get to the desired option,
Then the search term is immediately updated to the top item meaning that the other choices are filtered out and removed.

Chrome is up to date

Version 123.0.6312.59 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Should be a matter of changing the selection to on Return key or something along those lines.

When using the keyboard down key to go to Clutch
 

The top option is selected immediately and the other previous options disappear.

However, I followed the same procedure you described, but I didn't encounter the same issue as you. From my side, I was able to easily select the word "Clutch."

Please ensure that you are using a supported and up-to-date web browser. Some features of the Deezer player might not work correctly on older or less popular browsers. Additionally, try using different browsers or the incognito mode.

Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as outdated or corrupted data might cause issues with the Deezer player's display and functionality.

Check if there are any updates available for your browser, and apply them if necessary.

Similarly, ensure that you are using the latest version of the Deezer player.

I was also able to reproduce the problem described by @loz357 in the web player. I use the latest Firefox browser for Mac. I also tested the incognito mode and also Chrome and Safari. The same identical behavior everywhere. I cannot select the 2nd or 3rd entry with the cursor because the first suggestion blocks everything after pressing "Cursor down" and the further suggestions disappear.
